1. Each Working day, from Monday to Friday is divided into two sessions. The morning session extends from 8.15 a.m. to 12.15 noon and the afternoon session from 12.55 p.m. to 3.15 p.m. The working hours on Saturday are from 8.15a.m. to 12.00 noon.

2. Those who wish to meet the Principal, from Monday to Friday 9.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. to 3.30 p.m.

3. Students who come to school before 8.15 a.m. should sit in their respective class rooms and spend the time in useful study. No pupil should be found loitering about or idling away her time during the study hour.

4. Students are expected to be on time for their classes. Late comers will be marked absent. Habitual late coming should be avoided.

5. On the teacher’s arrival into the classroom, the students must rise and remain standing until they are asked to sit, or until the teacher takes her seat. When the
attendance roll is called each one must rise and answer
to her name.

6. No student is allowed to leave the school during the school hours without the permission of the Principal.Parents should provide a written request asking permission even for noon meals. The school authorities will take action on those students who do not abide by this.

7. a) Punctual and regular attendance is insisted upon.Leave of absence from school, even for a few periods, for e.g. attending marriages, funerals, etc,. must be applied for previously, in the form supplied in the calendar. The general terms of excuse, ‘for some business’, ‘for some ceremony’, out of station are not accepted.
b) When a student, has been absent from school without leave for some reason not foreseen, e.g.illness, she must, on returning to school, bring a note of excuse from her parents or guardian in the form supplied in the calendar. Should theabsence exceed three days, notice must be forwarded to the Principal.
c) Every student should have her own calendar and bring it to school daily.
d) Special notice shall be taken of absence without leave from tests and examinations. Absence without leave at the time of re–opening of classes after the holidays also shall be viewed seriously.

8. Irregular attendance, insubordination to teachers,habitual inattention to school work, obscenity in word or act are sufficient reasons for the temporary or permanent dismissal of a pupil. Minor offences such as coming late to class, damaging school property etc. are punishable by a fine.

9. The school does not hold itself responsible for the students' conduct outside its premises. It however, takes cognizance of any serious misconduct of its pupils
committed outside its precincts and should any serious charge be fairly substantiated, the guilty shall be punished according to the gravity of the offence.

10. Students should on all days wear the uniform as prescribed by the school. The prescribed foot wear from Monday to Saturday is black shoes with white socks. However black rainy shoes without socks are allowed during the rainy season from June to September.

11. It is mandatory to wear the prescribed school uniform regularly by the students. Any additional clothing like the scarf, burqua, shawl and head gear are not permitted to be worn with the uniform in the school campus.

12. Students are not permitted either individually or in group to hold activities or worship other than those organized by the school authority within the campus.

13. Every student must respect the members of the staff and greet them on meeting them for the first time during the day.

14. Books, magazines, newspapers etc. not approved by the Principal should not be brought to the school.

15. Books, umbrellas, rain–coats, stationery, tiffins, etc.should have a name or mark by which the owner can be easily known. All stray or unclaimed property should be
brought to the Principals’ Office.

16. No student or staff member will be called to the phone during school hours. In case of emergency, however, messages received on the phone will be conveyed to them.

17. Students must not join any clubs or societies or make any engagements that would interfere with their studies without the Principals’ permission.

18. Catholic students are advised to go to confession at least once a month and every day for mass if possible.

19. When prayers are said at the beginning and at the end of class, all stand and pray respectfully.

20. Any letters to students addressed to the school are subject to scrutiny by the Principal.

21. Letters officially addressed to the Principal should enclose reply postage.

22. No subscriptions are allowed without prior permission of the Headmistress.

23. Students should adhere to the discipline of the school wholeheartedly. They should follow the bells scrupulously, particularly bells given after the recess time, both in the forenoon and afternoon. They should not leave the school premises in between intervals.

24. Running, playing or shouting inside the school building is not allowed. No student is permitted to enter any classroom other than her own, without permission.
