Grow Trees and give life we need to breathe

Every year the school discovers new paths to plant the seeds for an integral ecology in the minds of the students. On 12th July, the school celebrated the Van Mahotsav- “Tree Planting Festival” at St Agnes Preparatory School.

The day commenced with thanking God for the blessing of nature which sustains our life. It was a delight to see different shape, size and colour of trees which was captured on the lens of the cameras, green balloons, green classrooms.

Yes, the days celebration was a wonderful learning activity filled with joy, love and fun for the tiny tots of the kindergarten. The green colour made the tiny tots feel bright, lively and cheerful.

The members present were the Principal Sr. Maria Gracilda A.C, Sr Lorna Mary our Coordinator teachers and students. The programme was compered by teacher Gulobi, teacher Akshitha conducted prayer by thanking the Almighty God. A Prayer song was sung by the tiny tots.

The Principal addressed the gathering and gave beautiful message about nurturing trees and planting saplings. Teacher Shanthi proposed the vote of thanks expressing her gratitude to all who were part of the programme.

ಪುಟ್ಟ ಪುಟ್ಟ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಣ್ಣಪುಟ್ಟ ಕೆಲಸಗಳು ಉಜ್ವಲ ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ ಮೈಲಿಗಲ್ಲುಗಳು. ಎಳವೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲಿತ ಪ್ರತಿ ವಿಚಾರವೂ ಮನದಾಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳಿದು ಅದುವೇ ಜೀವನಕ್ರಮವಾಗಬಲ್ಲದು. ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಸಂತ ಆಗ್ನೆಸ್ ಸಿಬಿಎಸ್ ಇ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಎಲ್ ಕೆ ಜಿ-ಯುಕೆಜಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಬಾಲಗೃಹದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರೊಡಗೂಡಿ ‘ಗಿಡ ನೆಡುವ ಹಬ್ಬ’ ವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಿದರು . ವನಮಹೋತ್ಸವದ ಪ್ರಯುಕ್ತ ಪರಿಸರ ಕಾಳಜಿಯನ್ನು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂಡಿಸುವುದು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಮೂಲ ಉದ್ದೇಶವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ವಿವಿಧ ಬಣ್ಣ, ಆಕಾರ, ಸ್ವರೂಪವನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡ ಗಿಡಮರಗಳ ವರ್ಣಮಯ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳ ಅನಾವರಣ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಆಹ್ಲಾದವನ್ನುಂಟುಮಾಡುವುದರ ಜೊತೆ ಪುಟ್ಟ ಮನಸ್ಸುಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಲಿಕೆಯ ಹೊಸ ಸ್ವರೂಪವನ್ನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿತ್ತು . ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ, ಪ್ರಕೃತಿ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ಕುರಿತಾದ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿತ್ತು. ಶಾಲಾ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಭ. ಮರಿಯ ಗ್ರೆಸಿಲ್ಡ, ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಸಂಯೋಜಕಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ಭ. ಲೋನ ಮೇರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
