On 18th of October 2019, the students of I A B C D visited Pilikula Nisargadhama as a part of field trip. Pilikula Nisargadhama is a major eco education project promoted by District Administration of Dakshina Kannada. 141 studentsalong with their respective class teachers visited Heritage Village, 3D Planetarium and Science Regional Canter for educational purpose.

The students boarded the bus at 8.45 am. The field trip’s first stop was Heritage Village which is also called Guttu House . The different sections of the Guttu House were observed and explained to the students. This includes separate wings for household, bath, cattle shed, store house and servant quarters. This was mainly developed to protect and to bring awareness among the people about the cultural practices of Dakshina Kannada. The students further visited Science Regional Center and 3D Planetarium which is the first 3D Planetarium in India. All the students expressed a desire to revisit the place again. Indeed it was a great day for the students and teachers. It was sound and safe trip by 2.30 pm.
