"Go Green- Grow Green"

The Eco Commission of the Apostolic Carmel Management organised School Kitchen Garden for all the schools that come under the Karnataka Province. The competition was announced in the month of October 2020. The closing day of the competition was 15th January 2021. The aim of the competition was to launch into the green journey and relish the fruits of our hands and maintain better health.

Under the able guidance of the Principal Sr. Maria Gracilda A.C, the School has shown that in spite of the obstacles and hurdles of the pandemic, they have proved beyond limit the very challenges put forward and bagged the First Place. The school fraternity unitedly with the Principal, Vice Principal Sr. Meera A.C and co-ordinator Sr. Sweedal Fernandes A.C enthusiastically worked to produce 34 various kinds of vegetables such as bottle gourd, spinach, lentils, ladies finger, pumpkin etc within the limited space available in the school campus. The yielded organic produce was distributed generously by the principal to the staff, convents and those associated with the school. This interest in kitchen gardening is sustained even after the competition as it provides more nutritious food.
