August 19 is observed as World Photography Day as well as World Humanitarian Day.

No occasion in India or anywhere in the world is complete without a photograph. World Photography Day is an annual celebration of the art and science of photography.

World Photo Day originates from the invention of the Daguerreotype, a photographic process developed by Frenchmen Louis Daguerre and Joseph Nicephore Niepce in 1837.

World Humanitarian Day is observed to pay tribute to the humanitarian aid workers who endanger their lives for the greater good of other people. This day is dedicated to pay a special tribute to the real-life heroes who have committed their lives to fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.

To mark the importance of these days St. Agnes CBSE School organised umpteen of competitions. These competitions motivated the students to explore their skills. The following is the list of competitions held :

An enthusiastic response by the students proved the talent is the source of one’s creativity.
Here are the winners of the competition.

The Management, the Administrator, Principal and the Staff congratulate all the winners for their best efforts. They extend a hearty thanks to all the parents for their constant support and encouragement to the students.
This event was organised by teachers Mrs Sumitra and Ms. Sarida.

Let’s continue the spirit of capturing the moment through the art of photography and also be thankful to the real-life heroes who chose humanitarian service in most difficult circumstances.
